Chris Otto has served on the board of Solid Ground since March of 2023. Since August of 2011, Chris has served in various roles at APi Group, including Assistant Controller, Subsidiary Controller, Senior Manager on the Corporate FP&A team, and currently serves as a Safety Services Special Projects Leader.

Chris earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from University of St. Thomas in 2007 and began his career in public accounting at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Chris holds an active CPA license and is a member of the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants (MNCPA) and Construction Financial Managers Association (CFMA).  He and his wife, Courtney, live in Centerville, MN with their four amazing kids. He enjoys coaching his kids in youth sports, hunting, and participating in other outdoor activities.

What drew Chris to Solid Ground was their mission to prevent and end homelessness for families with children in the communities we serve through housing, resources, and opportunity. As a father of four he couldn’t imagine the stress of trying to raise a family without basic needs like a place to live, therefore he wanted to be involved with an organization that had a proven track record of helping families provide a safe place to call home, the chance for a good education and careers that offer a chance at self-sufficiency.
