What is the Solid Ground Giving Circle?
Eighteen years ago, Solid Ground established a Giving Circle to build a stronger foundation allowing us to expand our programs and provide a stable future for the organization. A giving Circle pledge is a contribution to Solid Ground and an investment in our future, and the future of the families we house. Together we can help every family that needs a place to call home.
The Gift of Hope
The Gift of Hope is a pledge of $1,000 a year for 5 years; a gift of this amount provides after school tutoring and individualized academic support to a student for one year. A gift at this level, which is $84 a month or $20 a week, helps children succeed in school and develop a love for learning that can last a lifetime.
The Gift of Home
The Gift of Home is a pledge of $2,500 a year for 5 years, and provides a family experiencing homelessness with rental assistance for six months.
The Gift of Tomorrow
The Gift of Tomorrow is a pledge of $5,000 a year for 5 years. A gift of this amount provides life-skills classes like Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and parenting and budgeting for 8 families, providing them with the important skills they need to move forward to their new future.
